Sweet Summertime
School is out, and I have had a splendid time enjoying my summer. I surprised myself by starting my summer reading early. To date I have finished 1 of 5 books I need to read this summer. Tomorrow I plan to write the responses on the book. The book in question is Slaughterhouse-Five. This splendid book follows a man who has "come unstuck in time." It begins in the war and it ends in the war; the middle just isn't always the war. The novel shows random yet key events in the mans life. These include his time spent in a zoo on the planet Tralfamadore, his death, near-death experiences, marriage, and of course the prisoner of war camp he is placed into. I would say more, but I know some of my friends who read this may read the book and I don't want to spoil anything.
