That darkness was seen this week when Golden Sachs spent $10.93 billion on yearly bonuses. That's about 5o% less than last year and 7 top executives refused bonuses. How wonderful right? Wrong. If you remember, Golden Sachs received $10 billion dollars in bailout money this year. For those of us who are mathematically inept, that comes to $-93,000 left of their bailout. But yes Veronica, there is a Santa Claus. He lives in breathes in all that is good in the world, like my mothers friend who works for a nonprofit charity, and the woman at the beginning of this story.
