i am from
an unadorned maple mantle,
from the Belleek that sits on my shelves.
I am from windows facing west, out upon winter
weather, I am from a pallid barn that sits to honor the years gone by
I am from the Boulders resting in the water. offering a perch to a blue heron.
The smell of split wood clings to the mist, just above the surface.

I'm back from my trip, where I went isn't important. I didn't have internet where I was so when i arrived home I found my friends blogs (which are easily accessed through my blog) full of new posts which I needed to read.
